About Rock Pile Yard Services
- FACE launched Rock Pile Yard Services (RPYS) in 2014 to provide work opportunities for men struggling with barriers to employment and to deliver quality water-wise landscaping services.
- In partnership with Habitat for Humanity RPYS completed over 40 yard conversions to water-wise landscaping in 2017.
- A number of men have moved on to full-time employment or further vocational training as a result of working with RPYS.
Ways to Support
- Pray for the employees of RPYS as they reenter the labor force and grow in their skills
- Pray for our staff and management as they make decisions in operating RPYS
About Moving On Up
- Moving on Up (MOU) combines two of our current services. One is our furniture distribution ministry where we receive used house items that are then placed into homes of families in need. The second is our moving service which allows us to generate revenue and employ men part-time.
- At the pitch fest in October, we received a $1,500 award for seed money from the Center for Community Transformations
Ways to Support
- Pray for safety as they work on the job
- Donate items that we can redistribute to the community including: couches, chairs, kitchen tables and chairs, desks, bookcases, beds, dressers

RPYS provides water wise landscaping and regular yard maintenance.
Services include: mowing, blowing, raking, trimming, edging, cleaning, weeding, hedging, pruning, debris removal, yard renovation, sprinklers, driplines, irrigation, repairs, and more.

Employment Application
Thank you for your interest in working with RPYS & MOU. Our social enterprises were started to help unemployment rates of men in the community, specifically those with barriers to employment. This includes but is not limited to past felonies or misdemeanors that remain on personal criminal records. The employment opportunities start as limited part time and require manual labor. The positions available are lawn care specialist, yard conversion specialist, and/or moving specialist.
