“Our yearly Summer Adventure Club has come to an end- so sad! This year we got to learn about wildfire safety, participate in weekly cooking classes, and have a full day of recreation with North Fresno Church’s youth group. Our students enjoyed our Friday field trips to the zoo, bowling at Fresno State, and spent an afternoon canoeing on one of our local lakes.
Every year we end the program with a pool party but this year we decided to take our FIRST ever overnight trip with our students to Morro Bay. Rock Harbor Church was a huge blessing during our trip. When we first reached out to them, we were only hoping that they would open up their doors for a place to sleep for the night, however we were blessed beyond measure by their hospitality. They not only provided us a place to sleep, but they also provided sleeping bags and air mattresses, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, an evening of smores and games on the beach, and surf lessons! Wow! Thank you Rock Harbor Church!
